Kinvara started on top and were unlucky not to go ahead on 25 minutes when Conor Barrett hit the post from 25 yards, and again when an Oisin Keegan corner found the head of Jamie Fenning and grazed the top of the crossbar.
The teams went into the half-time break level at 0-0, but the second half got off to a flying start with Maree/Oranmore taking the lead on 60 minutes. Their lead was short-lived however as top scorer Adam Noone equalised for Kinvara assisted by Gavin Deely.
With 35 minutes to go Kinvara brought on Mark O'Hara for his Kinvara United debut and he didn't hesitate to disappoint with a 35 yard screamer to give him a debut goal and Kinvara a 2-1 lead. Maree/Oranmore fought back well and brought it back to 2-2, after which Kinvara made further changes bringing on Joshua Medina, Liam "Pappy" Walcroft and Colm Moran.
Both sides fought hard for a winner, and Kinvara were rewarded when Man of the Match Rory Moran hit the back of the net with a screamer of his own, assisted by Liam Walcroft to give Kinvara all three points and give us our 4th win in 5 games.
