Kinvara started well and were on top for most of the game, with our first goal coming from Tom Brennan with a long-range chip over the keeper from just inside the opposition half! That put Kinvara 1-0 up at the break.
The second half started strongly again for Kinvara and substitutes Gavin Deely and Taidgh Geoghegan were brought on to freshen things up. Kinvara were rewarded when top scorer Adam Noone scored a fantastic overhead kick from the edge of the box to make it 2-0 to Kinvara.
Kinvara also brought on Oscar Connolly and Ciaran Mellick to help nullify Loughrea's attempts to get back in the game, and two super saves from Gavin Deely helped Kinvara take all 3 points on the day.
